Probably the biggest day of the year in the Killearn social calendar, Saturday 3rd June see’s locals and a wave of visitors come together in Killearn.
Firstly for the 10k race which kicks off at 11am then afterwards the Killearn Beer Festival takes centre stage!
Here at the Old Mill Killearn we are delighted to be the main sponsor for the 10k Race 2017 and to be the host venue of the Killearn Beer Festival 🙂
10k RACE INFORMATION 2017 – 11AM (NOW SOLD OUT)
The Killearn 10k is Scottish Athletics affiliated and facilitated by members of jogscotland Killearn and the local community.
This year will see 250 participants take part in the race.
Final registration will take place at Killearn Primary School. The finish line remains at Killearn Park where you can cheer on all finishers.
Whether you are taking part or not, the routes and paths around the village of Killearn offer a fantastic opportunity for runners and walkers to enjoy our countryside away from the main roads.

*After the race, we expect lunchtime at The Old Mill to be pretty busy so if you are planning on having a well-earned spot of lunch, please book asap to avoid disappointment as we will book out tables well in advance of the day.

KILLEARN BEER FESTIVAL 2017 – 3PM TILL LATE
The 2017 Killearn Beer Festival is again hosted by The Old Mill Killearn on Satuday 3rd June 2017. Entry is £5.50 which earns you a Souvenir Pint Glass.
We’ve done our best to keep the Beer competitively priced at only £3.00 per pint as in previous years. The Beer Festival starts at 3pm and runs till late.
We will inevitably run out of some beers by early evening so our advice is to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
There will be LIVE MUSIC throughout the day well into the evening including Harvest Moon , Old Play & Loudmouth! More bands to be announced.
We’ll also have a special Gins of The World Gin Flight with Woodwinters plus our Outside Bar!
