BEER GARDEN & OUTSIDE DINING
Our garden offers a very relaxed alfresco dining option for both lunch and dinner, or just a great social space to enjoy drinks, which is always a popular way of enjoying a summer’s day in Scotland.
We’ve done huge amount of landscaping work in early 2021 to increase our capacity during these COVID times. The result is a cool and so far hugely popular place to hang out for adults and children alike!
THE YURT
In June 2015, we commissioned to have a 20 foot diameter Mongolian style yurt built in the old patio entrance. The yurt is conjoined to the restaurant giving it a feel of being part of the main building.
The yurt is a very dynamic space that we use for extra restaurant seating most weekends, but please book as it gets booked up quite far in advance. We’ve also had gin tastings, comedy nights and frequently cater for functions upto thirty people.
OUR TIP: THINK tea lights, candles and a few other vintage touches it could be transformed into a beautiful setting for small celebrations.
STRETCH TENT
We also invested in a new BIG stretch tent which is a prominent feature in our refurbished garden area. Combine the yurt with outdoor stretch tent and you have the perfect indoor/outdoor catering area for events so you are covered regardless of the weather.
WE’RE DOG FRIENDLY!
Dogs are very welcome in our pub area and we have a large outside area/garden for those sunny days and evenings – a perfect stop-off whilst out for a walk!
